The next steps

Been a while since we posted on Cary's progress. I'm going to post a few of Amanda's latest updates. Sept 2 - Had 3rd er visit this weekend. He refused to be admitted. He has staff infection around feeding tube and vitamin levels are whack. Meanwhile Timothy gave me his cold and Peter peed in the toilet 3 times! I threatened to call tball coach and tell him he couldn't play. He's been in underwear since! Lazy outfit! Tuesday Cary supposed to work on paperwork to try another hospice group that takes my insurance. Prayers for that process. Sept 5 - we hope cary will be admitted in the next few days to long term hospice. the insurance is a green light. Cary called me at work and when I got off the phone, I told my techs, I'm so excited Cary got into hospice!!! its the weirdest to ever come out of my mouth. means no more constant ERS, hospital stays. They will try to keep him home as much as possible and if he has to go in for a few days we can go to their facility. this means we now have a team to help us through each step of the way as far as making him comfortable and helping with counseling for me and kids. They said a nurse can come sit with him when he bad flare ups. I'm really hoping all this is true and we can truly have a little easier time caring for him.... Dear Lord you know what we need. Sept 6 - Cary port falling out again at the hospital waiting on radiology... Hoping to get nap before work Posted by Cary Sept 5 - I was admitted to Hospice Care today. My family and I are gracious for the many prayers and love that has been shown toward us as my health deteriorated. Prayers much appreciated!

Home again

Cary is home again. They are going to set up iv antibiotics at home and set up palliative care to hopefully keep him home more.

Devine intervention

Asking for prayers for the medical staff treating Cary and for the wisdom in steps to address some issues. Cary's on several antibiotics and in a lot of pain. Asking for strength for Amanda and Cary as well. The journey's been hard but they continue to cling and hold steadfast to their faith.

Readmission

Cary's been readmitted with a high fever and chills. Currently, tests are being run to isolate the location of the infection which probably developed after the last surgery.

Home Sweet Home

Cary's now home. Still in pain but home! The boys and Amanda are super excited!

Bank fixed, Tim fixed, dryer fixed, they aren't sure what's broken on Cary his abdomen is swelling up and busting his little surgical seam. What a day

Still no answers yet on Cary. He said he woke up with blood in his mouth which we know is part of what's ahead but it still made me sad . I wish he wasn't suffering so much. I pray for mercy.

I know we've asked alot of prayers from you but trust me when I say that your prayers are carrying them through.
